How to get to the Statue of Virgin Mary in Monte Maria, Batangas
Monte Maria Shrine is also accessible via public transportation. From Batangas City proper, take a jeepney to SM Batangas. The jeepney terminal is at the back of SM Batangas. From there, you may take a jeepney bound for Ilijan (Ilihan). Just inform the driver to drop you off at Montemaria Shrine. The fare is Php40 and travel time is around 45 minutes. From the main road, Montemaria is just a few minutes walk.
From Manila: Take a Batangas-bound bus from either Buendia, Alabang or Quezon City. Take the bus with Calabarzon signboard for faster travel time. Alight at Batangas Grand Terminal then take a jeepney to Batangas City. From there, follow the instructions above.
