MRT and LRT Schedule under GCQ

LRT 1 Schedule / Operating Hours

The LRT line 1 operates from Baclaran to Roosevelet station and vice-versa. During the GCQ, it operates from Monday to Sunday with reduced hours on weekends and holidays. The first trip from both Baclaran and Roosevelt Stations is at 4:30 AM. The last trip from Baclaran is at 10:00 PM and the last trip from Roosevelt is at 10:15 AM.

LRT 2 Schedule / Operating Hours

LRT line 2 operates from Araneta Center – Cubao to Recto and vice-versa. The first trip from both Cubao and Recto Stations is at 5:00 AM. The last trip from Cubao is at 8:30 PM and teh last trip from Recto is at 9:00 PM. It operates from Monday to Sunday including holidays.

Araneta Center – Cubao Station

  • First train departure: 5:00 AM
  • Last train departure: 8:30 PM

Recto Station

  • First train departure: 5:00 AM
  • Last train departure: 9:00 PM
LRT 2 Schedule / Operating Hours

Operations in Anonas, Katipunan, and Santolan stations remain suspended as of this writing.

MRT 3 Schedule / Operating Hours

MRT 3 operates from Monday to Sunday during the GCQ. The first trip from both North Avenue and Taft Avenue is at 5:30 AM. The last trip from the north is at 9:10 PM, while the last trip from Taft is at 10:11 PM.

Temporary Suspension of Operation

MRT 3 will temporarily suspend its operations from 7-11 July 2020 due to the increasing number of personnel who tested positive for COVID-19.

Here are the alternative modes of transport for passengers affected by the temporary shutdown:

  1. MRT-3 Bus Augmentation: 90 bus units with a 3-minute regular dispatch system
  1. EDSA Busway: 190 buses (From Monumento to Q. Ave & Estrella to PITX, passenger pick up and drop off will be at the curbside)
  1. Timog to Ortigas Mini loop (to pick up and drop off at the curbside)

North Avenue

  • First train departure: 5:30 AM
  • Last train departure: 9:10 PM

Taft Avenue

  • First train departure: 5:30 AM
  • Last train departure: 10:11 PM
MRT 3 Schedule / Operating Hours

Suspension of Operations

Please take note that MRT 3 will suspend operations during four weekends in July to September to fast-track its rail replacement works.

The suspended weekend operations will cover July 4-5, August 8-9, August 21-23, and September 12-13.

To accommodate MRT-3’s weekend passengers during the weekend suspension of operations, MRT-3, together with DOTr Road Sector and the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTRFB), will implement its bus augmentation program.
