Wine dinners do not need to be always serious and formal. This is what Marco Polo Davao wants to convey to its guests and diners. Wine is almost synonymous to formal gatherings but the recent event at MPD redefined it.
Marco Polo Davao in partnership with Wine Depot stages the “Not-So-Serious” Wine Dinner with wine sommelier Daniel Blais.
“The not-so-serious wine dinner will redefine dining experience with a Filipino-themed setting. We will take you to a tour into the colorful world of wines from Rutherford Ranch,” said Marco Polo Davao General Manager Colin Healy.
The event was light and really lived up to its not-so-serious theme. It was an amazing night of Filipino comfort food made from the finest ingredients prepared by Marco Polo Davao’s culinary team headed by Executive Chef Alex Destriza.
The wines served during the event were made by Rutherford Ranch from Napa Valley, USA. They served Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc, and Chardonnay.
