A Year of Adventure with my DDI Family

I can still vividly remember how Davao Digital Influencers started a year ago. It was over lunch when we talked about forming a new organization with a vision of sharing our influence in making a positive impact in the local community.

We formally launched DDI on June 30, 2016 at Mc Donald’s Sta. Ana branch to kick off our Kadayawan Twitter Party to help the city in promoting its annual festivity. We’re only about 20-something when we had our initial launching and we’re now 67 as of this writing.

I got elected as President of the organization and I was keen in making DDI a formal organization so we processed our Securities and Exchange registration. Barely two months from its inception, DDI became the first and the only SEC-registered blogging organization in Davao Region.

We’re basically a very young organization but we’ve managed to partner with several companies and organizations to help them in expanding their social media presence. This year, we have partnered with the Davao City government to be the official social media partner of Kadayawan Festival. We’re so thrilled to help the city in promoting the country’s King of Festivals.

It’s definitely an honor to be a part of an organization such as DDI. I’ve met more people and gained new friends. It’s a challenging journey but we we’re committed to our vision, mission and goals.

DDI would like to thank the following sponsors for their love and support:
