It was time to bid goodbye to Romblon, Romblon. There are 2 boat schedules going to the town of San Agustin in Tablas Island from Romblon – 8AM and 1PM. I took the first trip and just about one hour, I was already in San Agustin.
When I reached San Agustin, there was already a mini bus waiting for passengers and just about few minutes it departed already going to the town of Odiongan. Most parts of the road were already cemented although it was really a crazy road. First time drivers will have difficulty using that road especially the part near San Agustin.
The trip to Odiongan took me almost 3 hours. I do not have an accommodation in mind so I asked around town where is the cheapest and nearest place to stay and the tricycle driver brought me to a hostel near the plaza. It was very cheap, I got a fan room for P200.
Meet up with a travel blogger
I met Edgar of EAZY Traveler in one of the restaurants in Odiongan. Of course, we talked about travel related stuff. He was already leaving for Manila the same day so we were not able to travel together. It was nice meeting him in Romblon. Familiar face in an unfamiliar place.
The Beach and the Sunset
I had nothing to do so I went to the beach area and just stayed there for couple of hours until after sunset. It was a relaxing day. I will never be bored watching the sun sets.
