Day 43 of PHL50 : A Day in Sipalay, Negros Occidental

The journey to Sipalay was another bittersweet experience. I did not have a working camera so I was not not able to capture the beauty of the place. What I had was a phone camera which can only capture a low quality photo. Of course I did not allow the situation to ruin my my vacation. I have traveled several hours to reach Sipalay so I need to enjoy and explore the place, and that’s what I did.

I immediately headed to the beach area to see what’s in store for me. The beach has a light gray fine sand. It was already almost lunch time so it was really hot and there were no cottages near the shoreline so I did not stay long.

I took my lunch near the market. It was cheap yet delicious. I actually ordered quite a lot that made me so full.

After lunch I went to the open market in the park. I roam around while waiting for the bus going back to Bayawan. The bus schedule going to Bayawan was very infrequent that I waited for more than 2 hours to catch the bus.

I went back to Bayawan, waited for another 30 minutes for the bus going to Dumaguete. It was almost dark when I reach Dumaguete.
