The Ultimate Palawan Adventure : Day 3 – Beach Bumming at Nacpan Beach

We have chartered a tricycle and a tour guide to basically cook for our food and so we can enjoy the beach bumming with no hassles.

We first went to the wet market to buy some shrimp and pork to grill, then we bought cooked rice and went on an hour journey to Nacpan beach. About 30% of the road going to Nacpan Beach were cemented and the rest were rough. It was raining the night before our visit so the road was wet and slippery. Instead of just an hour ride, it took us about 1.5 hours to finally see the beach paradise of Nacpan.

After a couple of hours of beach bumming, we went back to the casa, took a shower and went to the bus terminal to catch a bus going back to Puerto Princesa. The ride was a bit inconvenient as the bus driver had to stop from time to time to either drop or pick up passengers. It was indeed a long journey.

We arrived at the Puerto Princesa bus terminal around 8:30 PM. We knew that the tricycle driver in the terminal will overcharge us so we decided to walk outside the terminal area. We were approached by a tricyle and we were asked to pay P100 to bring us to Banwa Pension where we supposed to stay. We thought it was a bit high so we waited and luckily a jeepney going to the city proper passed us so we took it and paid P12 each.

We arrived at the city proper after about almost 30 minutes and we took a tricycle that brought us to Banwa Pension, it was already fully booked so we went back to Season Inn. We checked in, freshened up, did some work, attended our weekly call conference and had our late dinner at Bona’s eatery. We ordered their famous chaolong and we enjoyed the soup.

I was already tired when we reached the inn so I immediately went to bed.
